Hi
I know you’ve said numerous times here that there won’t be a cast recording for the London production, but like many others I think that is a HUGE shame.
You’ve also said that one of the reasons for not doing a recording is that people would expect it to be the original London cast - however, I think the current cast is GREAT.
I know it would be difficult to get everyone into a studio and do a full recording at this late stage, but have you considered doing a ‘live’ recording? You could get a recording engineer in for a couple of nights performances and put together a fantastic CD of all the musical numbers.
Yes, I know there would be rights issues - but surely that could be overcome. Market the CD as ‘live cast recording’ and everyone will be well aware that it won’t be a polished studio performance (and I’m sure it will be all the better for it).
I’m sure there would be a healthy market for this. PLEASE consider it and don’t write this posting off with another “sorry but no” message - give it some serious thought and test the waters.
Yours in fabulous hopefulness
Alex
P.S. I know there are the Broadway/Australian cast recordings, but they just aren’t the same. The fans of the London show deserve our own version!

Hi Kenisha
If tickets aren’t available it will be because they are sold out.

Hi
First of all BRAVO!! Priscilla is the BEST show in the westend!
As everyone is very sad to hear about the closure of the show, which is devastating, I asked staff at tonights performance when the last date would be. They told me it would be on 31 January 2012. The booking period still only runs until 07 January. When will we be able to book tickets for the last night ? (Keeping my fingers crossed it will be extended indefinitely of course - but I CANNOT miss the last one!)
Congrats to all of you on your fabulousness
Blaeke

Hi Alexandra,
We glad you love the show. Priscilla constantly goes through tweaks and changes to improve it and make it the best possible show it can be. As such, for the last few months we’ve extended the scene on top of Ayres Rock and then gone straight into the Finale keeping the high tempo. We hope to see you again soon.
Best,
Priscilla

Hi,
I’ve been to see Priscilla four times now and each time it has been brilliant. We went to see the show last night (15th July), can you please tell me why part of the end of the show was missed out? The part where Tick, Felicia and Benji get on the bus to leave
Many thanks
Alexandra

Hi there,
All our shows are fabulous as you probably know by now, having seen in 5 times! No formal decision has been made about the show’s closure. You’ll have a great time on the 7th regardless.

Hi,
I was really impressed with the live band sound and have a couple of questions on what equipment they use. Is there an email address for someone who might be able to help?
Thanks!
Tom.

Hi Benjamin,
The show constantly undergoes small tweaks and changes in an effort to make it better.

I read on a Twitter post from Charlotte Riby that since the cast has been changed, a scene has been changed or removed towards the end of the show, is this true? And if so, why?

Many thanks

Hi Jen,
GET INTO LONDON THEATRE GILT Is a free event to promote London theatre and will showcase a range of shows culminating in a performance by Priscilla at the Royal Festival Hall on January the 4th. The promotional performing team, including Gumbies and Divas will be performing.
Best,
Priscilla
by Jen
…. sorry - meant to also ask… whats the gig (4th Jan) at the royal festival hall about? and is the whole cast of priscilla going to be there?
by Jen
Hi,
Have you ever thought about doing a “theme night” - like a “black tie and ballgown night”…. charge a bit more for a ticket and offer a free drink or something……. gone are the days when its the norm to get properly dressed up to go to the theatre. I know you can dress in what you like (but youd look nuts if you turned up like that!).. dont you think a “theme night” would just be something a bit different. Priscilla seems the obvious show for it!!

Went to see the show for 4th time this weekend and, as usual, had a ball. I would like to send huge congratulations to the new cast who seemed to be enjoying it just as much as we were. In particular really well done to Don and John as they both had big shoes to fill and did a fantastic job bringing a new feel to each character. Well done everyone and can’t wait for my next visit.
by Holly
I agree with the person above.
This will be the 5th and 6th times we are coming to see Priscilla.
And we live up in Scotland, so it’s harder to get down here.
We are coming to see Jason’s last two nights, but we obviously coming to scream for Oliver too.
I hope that Ben enjoys himself as Tick.
by Lollipopbug
Just booked to come and see the show for the 3rd time, want to see Jason again before he leaves
I’ll probably be coming for a 4th time
I love this show too much
by Priscilla
A production of Priscilla is opening in Broadway in March 2011, but we will remain at the West End as well. There will be an announcement shortly about when Jason is leaving the show.

Priscilla

Hello,
Absolutely love Priscilla and just wanted to know if the rumors were true and see if Priscilla is off to Broadway in March 2011? Oh, and would also love to know when the lovely Jason’s last night is as i’d love to come along again!
Thanks for your help!

I came back yesterday, and screamed my head off with my mum!
I love this so much. I’m so obsessed with it, I actually wore a cupcake hairband in my hair!
Jason wasn’t there but Hugo was fab!
But, obviously, I came to see Oliver. Can I just say Thank You to whoever chose him to be Adam/Felicia.
If you ask him, he may remember me. I was the tall, blonde girl that told him she loved him. Also, he said that my hands were freezing.
by laurencawte
Love the show!!! Jason and Oliver r fab planning on another date to come and c the show!! I just hope jason is still in it!!
by Mikey

by FischerTom
Priscilla dear,
just saw the show and loved it. Thanks so much.
Want to come back and bring some deaf friends, too. Is there any chance of another signed performance in the future? My friends missed the one in January.
Best from Berlin,
Tom
by Holly
Hi, again!
I was on youtube and saw this video by John Brannoch. It was the cast at rehearsals and all that. Then , I saw a recording part.
Does this mean we’re getting a London cast C.D?
Please, please, tell me it’s true!
by Priscilla
Hi Katie,
Jason will be in all performances unless ill, injured or on holiday.
best,
Priscilla
by katiekitoff
Hi to everyone at Priscilla,
I have been to see the show before and loved every minute, unfortunatly I didn’t get to see Jason (although Craig was fantastic). However, It’s my birthday tomorrow and I am coming to see the evening performance. Is there anywhere I can find out if Jason is in tomorrow’s performance?
Thanks and keep up the great work!

Well done everyone on yet another award, this time for costume design at the Olivier awards. Rather sad (and surprised) that Tony Sheldon didn’t pick up Best Actor and thoroughly shocked you didn’t get Best New Musical. Bet never mind, the gongs are stacking up! Well done to all involved.
by samlee
Heya guys xx i saw the show today and you all was brill good job Jason and all the other guys xx Fab show was a real laugh xx
by Priscilla
Hi Holly,
I love your dedication. At the moment there are no plans for a London recording. As we’ve said, if that changes we’ll let you know here first.
Best,
Priscilla
by Holly
I guess we’re definetly not getting a London cast recordng then, since Tony’s left?
Please tell us if you’re making one. It’s in demand. I’ll but 17 copies if you want!
by Priscilla
Hi There,
We don’t give out the holiday dates of the performers I’m afraid, in an interest of personal privacy. You will have a great night whenever you come to see the show.
Best
Priscilla
by Jo B
I am desperate to book another trip to Priscilla as soon as possible. However, I also want to make sure that Oliver and Jason are going to be on so wondered if you could tell me of any planned holidays either has - I appreciate you cannot be 100% certain with illness etc.
Many thanks

went to see priscila for the 2nd time recently with my bf,friend and mum! we ran late for the show but made it for the start(just) its so addictive. i cried, i laughed, i cried and i couldnt keep my eyes of it! was so sad to see tony leave but at the same time thought that he was genius in the role and who ever takes over has massive boots to fill! it really is the greatest show i have ever seen and i defy anyone to have a second thought before going to see it - we are planning our next trip in the summer, keep up the good work, long may priscilla reign in london!!!!xxxx
by murphy
Absolutely loved the show! Am taking family to see it soon. However when will Oliver, Tony and Jason be leaving the show, as i know the new cast started this week? Would be good to see the original three (or at least one of them) for the last time.
by Priscilla
We hope that Priscilla will continue to run at the Palace for some years yet. There are no plans to tour the UK at the moment. The size and scale of the show, means it is difficult to tour.
best,
Priscilla
by Jo B
Are there any plans to take the show on tour after next year or is the staging just too complicated for that?
by tealsocks
Whoops, I meant Jason, Oliver and Tony singing ‘We Belong’–not ‘Confide in Me’ (although Oliver’s version of ‘Confide in Me’ is always stunning)! Doesn’t seem to be an option to edit a comment though
by tealsocks
Was at the show Saturday evening, 06/03, for the last show of the original cast. What an evening! The buzz from the audience was absolutely electric! Miss Understanding and Farrah hugging during ‘Go West’ (rather than their usual snide looks) was almost a tearjerker! And, well, ‘Confide in Me’ with Jason, Oliver and Tony pulled my heartstrings immensely! Best wishes to all the departing cast members, and best of luck to those starting tonight!
by debraladiva
Went to see the show last night, sorry that Jason wasn’t in it, however it was the best show I’ve seen. Kept us entertained throughout and would watch again tomorrow. Even bought the T-shirt
