Steve Geere - Musical Director

After graduating from Reading University with a BA(Hons) in composition, Steve has worked extensively in pop music, most notably as Musical Director and keys player for Lisa Stansfield. He has played live on numerous TV and radio shows ranging from Top of the Pops to Woman’s Hour on Radio 4 and has played with her on numerous tours, festivals and gigs. Other artists Steve has worked with include Gareth Gates, Modern Romance, Shaznay Lewis (All Saints), Kevin Mark Trail (The Streets), The Real Thing and Shania Twain.

Steve is often found in Musical Theatre in the West End and across the UK and Europe. Credits include Thriller Live, Wicked, Joseph, Evita, Starlight Express, Les Miserables, Brighton Rock (Almeida), Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Lord of the Rings, Whistle Down the Wind, Blood Brothers, Scrooge, We Will Rock You, Footloose, Daddy Cool, Cabaret and Cats.

Steve is thrilled to be Musical Director of Priscilla and wishes to thank his wife Kathleen and his twin boys, Kai and Cooper, for all their love and support.
