Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical premiered in Sydney in October 2006. It has since been seen by over 1 million people in Australia and New Zealand and is the most successful Australian musical of all time.

Among its many fans are Elton John, Joan Collins, Twiggy and Little Britain stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas.

The show features over 20 full-scale production numbers, 500 costumes, 200 extraordinary headdresses, 23 tonnes of scenery and Priscilla, a huge 6 tonne sparkling bus as its centre piece and namesake.
And now we are proud to bring this hugely successful show to the Palace Theatre in London adding even more fun, glitz and sparkle to the gateway of Soho. Take a look at the massive stiletto shoe that has lit up the front of the theatre.

After spending the last six weeks in rehearsals and having warmed up on Let’s Dance for Comic Relief with the sensational pop song I Will Survive Jason, Tony, Oliver, Clive and the rest of the cast and crew are ready to take the West End by storm.
Jason Donovan takes to the stage as Tick. Tony Sheldon reprises his award-winning performance as Bernadette and completing the three friends embarking on the journey from Sydney to Alice Springs is Oliver Thornton’s Felicia. Along the way they encounter “Bob” the mechanic played by Clive Carter.
Months and years of fun, sweat and tears of laughter have gone into bringing our show to London and we hope you enjoy it. So come to the Palace and see what everyone will be talking about.

Forgot to add this …
I cant help but think of the first time I saw this in October 2006 and the changes that have been made to the show since then. Theres not too many of us that would remember the original curtain for “I Will Survive” and fewer still that would recall the Mt Kosciuszko line but for those of us who do I think we should be really really proud of everyone who made “Priscilla” the show it is today and what London will see tonight. I adored the show before the dancing aborigines were replaced by tourists and I cannot wait to see what new changes have occurred for London. xxx

We live in Los Angeles, visiting London in September and already have tickets! Loved the movie but it will be years before the Musical gets out here - we haven’t even had Mary Poppins! When La Cage was here, it was said to be better than the Broadway production and so we expect great things from London and Australia. From the photos and video, it looks as if we shall not be disappointed!

The most fun I have ever had in the theatre. Saw “Priscilla” last Thursday night while visiting in London. The packed theatre were all singing and dancing in their seats…many in costumes like the girls in the show. All the leads were excellent as were the whole cast. Fantastic Production and should run for years. Just hurry and bring it to Broadway and the USA so I can see it again. At least I picked up the Cast CD and will relive the memories of the show for a long time.

Saw this last Thursday night while visiting London. Priscilla is the most fun I have ever had in the theatre. All the leads are excellent as is the whole cast. The crowd and the theatre must have been packed with hundreds of people, were all singing and dancing along with the girls as they rocked the outbacks. Every song you remember in the disco era must be included in this production. Priscilla will run for years…now just bring it to Broadway and the USA!!
