We asked you to send in your questions for Tony. Here are the third set of them and his answers.
Would you perform in the West End again given the opportunity?
I would love to do a play in the West End. I don’t think I would want to do another musical in the West End, but I would love to do a play.
Will you write an autobiography?
My mother has written 2 autobiographies, my aunt, Helen Ready, has also written one. So there are 3 autobiographies in my family. If I do, I will have to wait until everyone in my family is dead, so I can tell the secrets.

Will you explore the UK?
I am hoping to spend at least a month travelling around, mostly around Cornwall.
How have you tuned into Bernadette’s femininity so well?
Some of it is in the great writing. I’ve also had a director, Simon Phillips, who has kept a close watch on me, making sure I don’t lose the femininity. With any character you lock into what their personality traits are and try not to lose concentration. If I do lose concentration, I suddenly find I’ve turned the wrong way, or delivered a line too forcefully, it takes me a minute to get back on track. I can throw myself and become Tony Sheldon for a split second. After 4 years it is pretty easy to get the character right.

We have loved Tony’s performance so much - he is such a warm, funny, believable Bernadette and he has made the show for us. We are so sad to see him leave, but wish him well for the future - he is a very talented actor and bound to find another exciting project. How can we keep up with Tony and what he does next?
