We asked you to send in your questions for Jason. Here are the third set of them and his answers.

Have there been any mistakes in the show that have made you want to laugh but you can’t?

There was a mouse on stage the other day. That was quite funny in the middle of Les Girls. There have been a few show stop moments, but you can laugh, because that breaks that fourth wall so to speak.

What is the favourite of all the songs that you have recorded?

I’ve recorded a lot. Too Many Broken Hearts and Especially for You changed my life, so they have to be up there. Any Dream Will Do also had a big impact. There are songs I’m doing at the moment, one called Talk You Down, which is just an incredibly crafted melody. I did a cover version of Sign Your Name, which is great. I think I’m getting better as a singer, I’m more confident now.

What ambitions do you still have?

The great thing about this career is there are lots of opportunities. I also think my current age is good for male actors, you find there are a lot of good roles for actors in their forties. You also find that by this stage actors that haven’t achieved what they wanted to, have usually decided it’s not for them. I want to be an entertainer, not just an actor. I like the variety of jobs. There is nothing more rewarding for me than being creative and being involved in the creative process.

Do you have any good luck rituals or superstitions you go through each day before you go on stage?

No. I have got past that. I know some people prefer to put their shoes on a certain way and other things like that. I usually go through the first song before the start of the show, but that is about it, other than warm up exercises.
